This Privacy Policy explains what information Cosmo ("we", "us") collects when you use the Cosmo Discord bot and this website, why we collect it, and how it is handled.

We use the information above solely to operate the Service: matching you with other users, displaying your profile card, enforcing our moderation rules, and delivering the Premium features you've purchased. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use your profile information for advertising purposes.
Profile and matchmaking data is stored in a database operated on our behalf by our hosting provider (Railway). Reasonable technical measures are used to protect this data from unauthorized access.
When you purchase Cosmo Premium, payment is processed entirely by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your card details — Paddle handles payment collection, fraud prevention, and applicable tax compliance under its own privacy policy, available at paddle.com/legal/privacy. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and which subscription tier was purchased, which we use to activate your Premium access.
We retain your profile data for as long as your Cosmo profile exists. You may request deletion of your profile and associated data at any time by contacting us through our Discord support server. We will remove your data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations (e.g. financial records related to a Premium purchase).
Our website uses Discord OAuth to let you log in and manage Premium purchases. We store only the minimal session information needed to keep you logged in during your visit; we do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.
Cosmo is not intended for use by anyone under 14 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from users below this age. If you believe a profile belongs to someone under 14, please report it through our Discord support server.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
